We’ve got an exciting new service we’re delighted to be launching this week – and if you’re moving house, hopefully it can help make things even more convenient for you. We understand that when you’ve got a house sale and/or purchase going through, there are already a million and one things you have on your mind.
So….drumroll please…..welcome to our brand new offering – we’re excited to reveal that as of this week customers can opt for a video survey when they enquire about a quote.
Instead of one of our experienced estimators coming round to your home to assess the work, they can instead do it over a face-to-face phone call – such as through FaceTime or Skype. If that’s not possible there’s an option to do a video upload instead.
The team will then use the video information to look at your home, and the amount of furniture and belongings involved. Our belief is that we will be able to provide even more accurate estimations by having the footage to refer to.
To make it even more exciting, you can think of yourself as Keith Lemon/Lloyd Grossman/Sir David Frost (depending on your age) doing Through the Keyhole. “Who’d live in a house like this?”
As well as getting the chance to pretend to be a TV celebrity, one of the benefits of doing this for you is that we can do surveys at a time to suit you, at your convenience. With less travel involved, our estimators will be able to be much more flexible. It should also help speed up the length of time between making an enquiry and receiving a quotation – particularly handy if you have a potentially speedy move on the cards!
It’s a really simple, easy to use app on a smartphone, and so it’s straightforward for you as the customer. And because you’re still having that face-to-face communication with us, you can get a feel of who we are as a company and team.
Of course, if you prefer someone to come and see you at your home, or you don’t have the appropriate technology, it’s not an issue at all. Flexibility is part of who we are, and we like to work however best suits our customers.
